The Weekend
Saturday night movie night starred Disney's Mulan. It was a pretty good little movie. Of course, Pud fell asleep before it was over. He's always been a good sleeper. Ever really pay attention to the Disney movies? There are so many innuendos & references that I know children have no clue what they are referring too. Guess that is why Disney is so successful. They keep the adults as well as the children entertained.
Friday, I had a very stressful day. Nana & I were airing out dirty laundry via some quite emotional emails. After dinner, I had a glass of wine sitting on the coffee table in a wine glass. The boys were already in bed, but Jhett came back down stairs to get something to drink. First, he wanted to know why I had a "fancy" glass & what was in it. I told him. He sat down at the kitchen table & was drinking his tea, processing the situation. Then he came back in the family room, & said "Are you going to drink that, or is it just for advertisement?" Emily & I busted out laughing! She said that it was an advertisement & that we were shooting wine commercials! He paused a moment, & said "No you're not!" It was too cute. I needed a good laugh!
This is the last week of hockey. The boys team the Vipers are going to "play" at the Cyclones intermission this Thursday night. They are excited. Jhett more than Sterling. Nothing much impresses him, except the thought of getting super powers & going to China. He asks us about once a week when he is going to get his super powers. Meana tells him she doesn't know cause she is still waiting on hers! And for some reason he is determined to go to China! I have no idea why. He is very eclectic, like his mom! Now Jhett, on the other hand, is a "Bubba". He likes to watch the old reruns of The Dukes of Hazzard (gag), & his new favorite show is Trick my Truck on CMT. Dios Mio!!! Ayuda me!!!
